Real-World Learning Through STEM

We partner with the top scientists, engineers, mathematicians and researchers in our region and integrate the latest technologies in learning. Students discover how knowledge from across all subject areas comes together to solve real-world problems, giving them skills they can use in any career. Every nine weeks, students complete interdisciplinary STEM projects that connect classroom learning to real-world challenges. Each December, we celebrate their creativity and innovation with a school-wide STEM Showcase featuring projects from every grade level.

A Blue Ribbon Culture of Excellence

Isaac Litton is proud to be recognized as a Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence Lighthouse School, a distinction that celebrates our commitment to academic excellence and innovative practices.

This prestigious award highlights our efforts to foster a dynamic learning environment where students are empowered to reach their full potential.

As a Lighthouse School, we set the standard for educational best practices, sharing our successful strategies with other schools. This recognition reflects our dedication to continuous growth, collaboration, and providing students with the skills they need to succeed in STEM fields and beyond.

Nurturing Talent, Creativity and Growth

Students rotate through a STEM-related arts class every nine weeks, along with other related arts courses such as physical education, visual art, and music. One of Litton’s standout programs is our band, which has grown significantly over the past four years. Led by a passionate and dedicated director, it now includes beginner, intermediate, pep, rock, and honor bands.

We offer Gifted and Talented Education (GATE), the district’s gifted education program, to support academically advanced learners.
